It emphasizes that the education of the Society of Jesus, rooted in its identity and mission, is an integral life process centered on the person and the community, guided by Ignacian spirituality and the values of social justice, sustainability, interculturality, and peacebuilding. Furthermore, education must promote a Christian humanism that places the person and their dignity at the center, fostering discernment and cura personalis (holistic accompaniment), encouraging learning that transforms individual and collective mindsets and behaviors, and developing critical thinking, ethical indignation, and civic commitment toward concrete transformative action.
Attached to the text are the guide and reflection questions on how the challenges raised are experienced in each particular context, the existing educational actions, and the possibilities for improving the response to these challenges from different sectors: basic, higher, popular, social, and spiritual education, youth ministry, and Jesuit formation. This aims to promote dialogue for collaboration across works and sectors, share experiences, identify best practices, and articulate strategies to strengthen transformative education and social impact.
